What is Cape Town's food system like? How much food of what kind is there? Where do people get their food? How does it enter the system, where does it go and who eats what? How much waste is there? Are people getting the nutrition they need? How are things changing, and what impact has the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown had? These and other questions will be addressed to provide a broad introductory overview of Cape Town's food system, up-to-date with the latest research findings.
