We currently have a master map for each city, where you can see all the available layers, and click them (example). This works, but it is very simple. By adding a set of features, we can convert this into a tool in and of itself.

The Cape Farm Mapper is a good example of what a feature-rich tool can look like. Live querying of the map and its features, options to search, better legends, options to share and export... all very nice things.

This task is about writing up the spec for such a tool - and the Cape Farm Mapper is simply an example to get you inspired.
