This document (which is a summary of a longer report) provides recommendations to support Brussels Capital Region (BCR) in monitoring its circular economy strategy. It provides a comparative analysis of Brussels and WCCD ISO 37120 cities, a recommended monitoring framework to measure circular economy flows and effects; it reflects on job measurement of other cities and possible applications in Brussels; and it provides a closer look at how urban metabolism can be used to analyse and improve Brussels’ resource flows.
