The report shows data, tables and maps of the evolution of the number of nature and forest reserves in the Brussels-Capital Region.

The information dates back to 1973 when the law on conservation and protection of nature first formulated in 1973 and revised in 1995, which later led to the creation of nature reserve and forest reserve in 2012, which protects such areas due to their exceptional/particular biological value.
