The map of commercial density is based on data from the 2017 Paris BDcom (an exhaustive survey carried out by Apur on ground floor businesses of Parisian buildings in premises with street facing, display windows. It shows the distribution of commercial density calculated in relation to surface areas where goods are sold and commercial services and cafes-restaurants are available (this excludes hotels and other types of premises: wholesalers, health care, offices…).
