Use this great review paper as baseline
General instructions
To upload a new publication, first make sure you have all the details available (this includes the title, abstract, journal/place of publication, year, authors). Then go to the library, and click in the menu on LIBRARY > ADD A NEW PUBLICATION.
Select the type of publication that you want to add, and fill out the form. That's it! After you add a publication, a new task will be automatically created to process and publish this within the library -- this is a second task that can be done later by someone with review privileges (we need to add tags). If you add enough publications to the site, you will earn this privilege yourself and you can help with that as well.

How do I do this task ? Where and how should I upload the information ?

In the library (https://library.metabolismofcities.org/) go to Library > Upload new publication or use this link: https://library.metabolismofcities.org/upload/
Should be intuitive from there.

Hi Anne, the instructions were missing indeed! But they are now in place in the task itself as well.
@Kim: FYI I changed the type to UPLOAD PUBLICATION because that way it pulls in the right instructions.

I was wondering if there wasn't a more efficient way, like importing bibteX or other formats.

Yes, good point Anne! Bibtex is something we are working on. I'll add a task to keep track of progress ;-)

Hi Anne,
Quick notice! We saw that one of the publications you added actually already existed -- sorry!! Some already do exist, some don't. I will be building a quick check right now, so you can enter the name and see if it exists. Please stay tuned (10 min)!

Anne, the search function is now in place. At the top of the page where you add a new entry there is a search box -- please start typing the title there and the system will tell you whether an item exists or not. Hope that helps!
