Two major projects have been launched, that of the Construction Village in the Vergote basin and that of the Brussels Cruise Terminal in the outer harbor. The Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region has done the honor to the Port to be present on these sites to launch them officially . His presence thus demonstrates the regional importance of port development, which reinforces the objectives of the Region's Canal Plan, aiming to better integrate port facilities into the urban fabric, densifying the port area and encouraging a mix of functions.
